Lourdes Valdes Lopez

Lourdes M. Valdes Lopez received her law degree from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida in 1983. Mrs. Lopez received her Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude from Barry College, Miami, Florida in 1980.

Mrs. Lopez is a member of The Florida Bar Association. Additionally, Mrs. Lopez is admitted to the Federal Non-Trial Bar for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mrs. Lopez is certified as a circuit court mediator by the Florida Supreme Court, a member of The Florida Academy of Professional Mediators and is certified as an Arbitrator.

Prior to her affiliation with The Center For Conflict Resolution, Mrs. Lopez served as Judge Pro Hac Vice for the Miami District, State of Florida Department of Administrative Hearings in which she fulfilled the duties of a Judge of Compensation Claims (Worker’s Compensation). Mrs. Lopez served as a State mediator for Judges of Compensation Claims, State of Florida Department of Administrative Hearings in Miami, Florida (1997-2004).

Mrs. Lopez practiced law in the area of commercial litigation and transactions.
